Despite the downturn in the global economy, Philippine Airlines is offering recession-buster air fares to the Philippines. You couldn’t get anything lower than this!
The single Special economy fare to the Philippines has been dropped to AUD499 plus tax and is valid to any domestic destination in the Philippines where PAL regularly flies to. That means – not only have they lowered the prices but the super-low air fares also include the connecting flights from Manila to your choice of provincial destination. This promotion is valid from May 01, 2009 to November 30, 2009.
“The downturn in the global economy has created additional stress for families. Our super low air fares will give people the chance to still have their much-needed break,” said PAL Manager, Mr. Arnul Pan.
If a passenger was headed to Legazpi City in the Bicol Region, the total air fare cost would be AUD786 only (breakdown: air fare $499 plus tax $287). Families can take advantage of the substantial discount and take their whole clan with them. Taking advantage of the promotion, a family of five (5) would now only spend $3930, rather than the regular estimated price of $7,000. That’s a savings of almost $3,000 which can go towards your shopping money.
However, for a passenger traveling to Manila only, with no intention of connecting to a provincial destination, they would have to pay the discounted fare of A$704 only (breakdown: air fare $499 plus tax $205).
To avail of this fantastic offer, tickets should be paid between April 17, 2009 and June 15, 2009. Tickets are valid for a 35-day stay. The promotion is also applicable for Business Class travelers for AUD1640 only plus tax.
It’s a great incentive to pack your bags and fly. There really is no excuse not to go home for the holidays! Don’t miss out. Check with your travel agent soonest before the flights fill up fast.
